Taraxa Community Update — September 2020.
➕ #AppFirst: auditable handshake agreements for remote&hybrid work models and construction sites.
Over 80% of business agreements today are informal handshakes that have never been captured or analyzed. Our solution gives much-needed insight into how actual work is done to drive continuous improvement.
On our application seeking journey, we bet on distributed ledger technology to outpace legacy ERP systems and optimize operational process auditing by adding transparency to everyday handshake agreements. This month, we’ve continued with Marinate’s MVP development and looked into ways to enhance the UX and how to best integrate Taraxa’s API into legacy operational systems.
The ultimate goal here is to increase stakeholder accountability and minimize the risk of disputes. Applied to complex hierarchies of stakeholders such as remote operations, and rapidly changing working environments such as construction sites, it will build up shared process visibility and give context to everyday decision-making.
To illustrate, here’s how our solution works for remote, hub-and-spoke, and hybrid work models. And more broadly for any business vertical when applied on the infrastructure level. We’ll keep you updated on the MVP release, so stay tuned!
Keeping our key customers in Japan and here in the US, we’ve also been exploring more market opportunities in IoT for Helio, our hardware endpoints solution that offers tamper-free digital identities to facilitate asset monitoring.
As promised, Taraxa’s brand new website is now live! Go check it out to see all our current solutions and get a detailed view of key features and benefits.
➕ The Community: catch our CEO at LA Blockchain Summit!
We are thrilled to be joining LA Blockchain Summit with Steven Pu participating in a panel discussion on how to do things right when applying a blockchain solution at scale and sharing Taraxa’s applications journey. He will be live on the Research & Innovation Stage at 4.40 PM PST October 7. We made a quick guide of the conference for those of you interested in all things layer one, enterprise blockchain, and broader network architecture matters.

➕ The Tech: More debugs and fixes to Taraxa’s testnet.
Moving on with the Aphrogenes’s deployment, we keep working on network configuration, consensus, and transaction execution layer. Most of the month was dedicated to optimizing DAG and VDF integration. We’ve also continued with the EVM transaction layer and its asynchronous design for transaction execution.
